HCS receives customer request

HCS evaluates industry, product line, number of products

HCS evaluates volume of domestic or International consumption.

Application Completion & Pricing

Halal Certification Request

Application and pricing information provided to applicant

HCS shares pricing details with the applicant.

HCS requests the applicant to provide product ingredient statements and product manufacturing process flowcharts.

Application Review

HCS receives application and product information to start working on a service agreement.

HCS conducts in-depth due diligence in reviewing ingredients and process before making a final decision to proceed with the remaining steps of certification.

HCS calls applicant with potential pre audit questions

HCS and the applicant sign a service agreement and and sets an on-site audit date.

Service Agreement Signed

Facility Audit & Inspection Scheduled and Completed

Halal Certification Issued

Once HCS successfully complete the facility audit inspection, customer is invoiced for inspection related expenses.

Facility certification - normally good through the end of the current calendar year (or as negotiated if certified in 4th quarter of the year)

Once HCS receives invoiced payment, Halal facility and product certification is issued.

HCS logo and seal are sent to customer for use on product labels and packaging.

Facility and products are recertified annually.

New products and facilities would require additional audit inspections to certify.
